Our Approach to Children's Ministry

Envision a generation…

• Who knows God’s voice.
• Who desires to obey God.
• Who lives dependent on the Holy Spirit, and
• Who chooses to live in God’s presence.

At Sandpoint Church of the Nazarene we are envisioning such a generation as we strive to inspire, equip and support our families with the resources they’ll need to be intentional about the spiritual formation of their children.

What happens on Sunday Mornings?

• Nursery care is available during both services for children birth to three years-old.
• At age three, our kids enter our TruWonder Kinder Church Program which seeks to reveal the wonder of who God is by allowing them to explore, discover, respond and be blessed in an interactive environment. Best of all, TruWonder begins in the home, equipping parents to be primary in spiritually nurturing their preschooler through a pre-teaching resource called HomeFront Weekly.
• Kids ages six through ten are invited to experience the BIG GOD STORY of God’s redemptive plan in our TruStory Children’s Church, allowing them to anticipate, celebrate, respond and be blessed in a participatory environment. And just like TruWonder, TruStory begins in the home with the help of some great resources.
• This time of discovery and discipleship is carried over into our Monday Family Night time with classes for those in Kindergarten through sixth grade.
